What exactly is "Liyang"?
To put it simply, Liyang is the name of the world that the characters live in. It is also the name of the country they live in as well.

Then why are there demons and angels in Liyang?
Demons and Angels exist in Liyang for 2 main reasons. The first reason is because I said so. The second reason, in case the first reason wasn't enough for you, is because While Liyang is another world from Earth, it is also an alternate dimension of Earth. So as demons and angels exist on Earth, they also exist in Liyang. Too confusing for you? The stick to the first reason.

What is this "Maho" that everyone is talking about?
Maho is another word for "magic energy". There are three other energies that govern the world as well.

So what are the other three energies? The other three energies are Tya (time energy), Lhei (life energy), and Pyorei (strength/power energy).

What is a "Faery"? Isn't it supposed to spelt "Fairy"?
Let's get this straight. Nephylys is not Tinkerbell. She never has been and never will be. I use the spelling of "faery" over "fairy" because I feel that the spelling "fairy" is much too weak to describe the race in Liyang. Yes, I know that faery can also be used in term of describing "fairy folk" and what not but keep in mind that this is Liyang, not Earth, so the usage of the word is a little different.

What is a kitsune/fox?
A kitsune or fox in liyang is very similar to the fox demons of Japan. The Liyang kitsune tend to be a bit more curious though, and also happen to be what would be considered an "endangered species". Kitsune are running extinct in Liyang because they are considered to be a delicacy among many of the races, expecially dragons.

What the hell is a Sleepwalker?
Despite what the name says, sleepwalkers are not people who walk around in their sleep. ^^U Sleepwalkers are cat-like demons, notorious for mating when possible, due to them being at risk of becoming extinct. These demons usually live in groups and it's rare to ever seen one traveling without another.

What is a Souleater?
A souleater is pretty much what the name says. They are demons that eat the souls of other creatures.

What is an Elder?
No, in Liyang, an Elder is not your grandparents. Elder is a race of beings who are not so powerful in the use of magic. They are called "elders" because they happen to run most of the government in the world of Liyang. Despite being near-magicless, they are considered highly dangerous and skillful. They are also known for doing whatever it takes to get what they want and are very vicious.

What is a Vyaamyrz?
A Vyaamyrz is a type of demon that lives off of blood. However, that doesn't make them Vampires. Vyaamyrz only need to hunt once every 1000 years and usually don't have to do so until they reach the age of about 1600. They are related to what would be the Satan of Liyang.

So then what is a Valpyre? A Valpyre is quite similar to a Vyaamyrz but not as powerful physically. Valpyres are usually quite smart and can easily get others to do the dirty work for them in most cases. However, this does not mean that they are weak. Valpyres are one of the most dangerous creatures in Liyang, feeding not only off of the blood of their victims, but their Maho energy and soul as well.
